10 Work Days left

The final countdown. Today I will receive my next to the last paycheck from the same place. I have recieved 1 every 2 weeks for 10 years and 5 months. That is over 260 checks. Seems so strange.

So last night was a little rough. My hubby went out with some friends and the girls and I were home alone. A small glimpse of what is to come. It started with me having a headache that wouldn't calm down. The girls ate their dinner before daddy left and everything was good to go. I decided to finish watching "Grey Gardens" on HBO (recommendation from a friend). It was very upsetting for me. I watched it and only thought about how I am shutting myself off from the "real world" by not going straight back to work. After it was over, I made the girls put their clothes on and I treated them to ice cream at the new place in town (Here's your Scoop). We had to get out.

So enough about all that. My wonderful hubby built me some incredible shelves on Tuesday to hold my stockpile. We loaded in my collection to date and it is a good start. I am really excited to fill the shelves with cheap or free goodies! Watch my posts to find some great deals.

Target Corporate Coupon Policy

Thanks for asking us about using coupons at Target. Coupons are a great way to save even more when shopping with us, and it's easy to use them at our stores. Because of the variety of coupons available to our guests, we do have some guidelines for how coupons can be redeemed at Target. When accepting coupons, we use the following guidelines:- We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued and manufacturer-issued.- We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.- We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item; in this case, we're able to adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item.- We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.- All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier while you're checking out.For questions about using a specific coupon, we encourage you to stop by Guest Service and ask to speak with the Guest Service Team Leader. They'll do their best to help while you're in the store. If you still have questions after speaking with them, please call our Guest Relations team at (800) 440-0680. Either way, we're here to help!We appreciate the opportunity to share this information with you.

Sincerely,

11 Days and counting!!!

Only 11 days of work left. I am trying to finalize all the details of what is left of my job. I don't want to leave anything for anyone to have to cleanup after I leave.

Still struggling with my decision to turn down the chance to head straight to a new job when I am finished here. I really would love to have a nice chunk of money in the bank and feel like we are finally comfortable after all the years of getting by. I think I have talked it over with everyone I know. And gotten what is probably at least 50 differing opinions. But the one that I kept hearing when I talked about it was my girls saying "Mom you promised you would hangout with us this summer!"

It was weird at Church Sunday, Matt preached on fear (www.eaglecreekchurch.com podcast should be up soon). And it so spoke to me. That is really what is causing me to be hesitant. Fear. Fear of the unknown if I honor the promise I made to the girls to stay with them for the summer. What will happen in the fall if I don't take what I right there for the taking now. One friend said to me "Tomorrow is not promised". So here I sit. I am taking a huge risk (for me) and planning a fun summer with my girls with no prospect of a job in site! I am trusting in the lord.
